During planned refurbishment of a section of the runway from 25 October to 22 November 2021, the usable length was reduced to 1,000 metres.
Operational restrictions
Reduced runway length during the works
Flight operations were restricted during the works. The temporary threshold of Runway 22 was displaced 300 metres inward, just before the junction with Taxiway C. The usable length of both Runway 04 and Runway 22 was limited to 1,000 metres. The maximum permitted MTOW was restricted to 5.7 tonnes.
